“…Many studies have already shown that, on a short‐term basis, photoselective vaporization of the prostate (PVP) using the KTP 80 laser is safe and effective and, at the same time, maintains minimal invasiveness [2–6]. The foremost advantages of KTP laser prostate endovaporization is to enable PVP in anticoagulated patients with high anaesthesiological risk in the presence of a moderately enlarged prostate [4,5,7–9] and to allow 1‐day surgery with a limited cost [4,5,10–13].
