6,6′-(Perfluoropropane-2,2-diyl)bis(2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-dione)-based coordination polymers and their sensing properties towards Cr2O72−

Abstract: The structures of six new diacylhydrazidate-based coordination polymers were reported. Based on their better photoluminescence properties, their sensing abilities towards Cr2O72− were investigated.

“…-sensing MOFs (An et al, 2019;Fan et al, 2018;Tong et al, 2018;Wan et al, 2019), which indicates that (II) exhibits high sensitivity toward Fe 3+ and Cr 2 O 7 2À . In order to explain the possible mechanism of luminescence quenching of Fe 3+ and Cr 2 O 7 2À , the PXRD patterns of samples after luminescence sensing experiments with Fe 3+ and Cr 2 O 7 2À solutions were measured, and they match well with the simulated patterns ( Fig.…”

“…Lang and co-workers also demonstrated turn-off sensing of oxoanions such as dichromate (Cr 2 O 7 2– ) and chromate (CrO 4 2– ) with LOD of 1.39 and 0.09 ppb, respectively, attributed to energy transfer process . Other reports on oxoanion detection are also investigated by few other 2D MOFs. Several other 2D MOFs for dual-responsive cation and anion sensing have been reported in the literature as well. …”

“…That is to say, the acylhydrazidate‐based coordination polymer might be a potential chemosensor for detecting TNP. Due to the molecular close packing, and the occurrence of inter(intra)molecular excited‐state proton transfer (IESPT), most acylhydrazidate‐based coordination polymers do not emit light. However, we note that in these limited photoluminescence acylhydrazidate‐based coordination polymers, most contain the heavy‐metal centers as Pb 2+ .…”
