Singlel photon-emission in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) has been evaluated. The device structure of ITO/ MoO3 (20 nm)/ α-NPD (50 nm)/ Alq3 (50 nm)/ LiF (1 nm)/ Al (70 nm) was evaporated on an ITO substrate. In addition to the common OLED measurements, photon-counting measurements were carried out, where, the light is extracted through a diameter of 100 μmϕ pinhole, and the voltage was precisely controlled within 5 mV steps using a power supply. By decreasing the voltage below 2.25 V, an average photon counting of “1” was observed at 2.135 V.
