Abstract: DOTA–ibandronic acid (IBA) is a novel precursor targeting bone metastasis. It can be radiolabeled with 68Ga for the diagnosis of bone metastases. However, extraosseous lesions can also show increased DOTA-IBA uptake. We report the 68Ga-DOTA-IBA PET/CT findings in a case with cholangiocarcinoma with multiple bone metastases. 68Ga-DOTA-IBA PET/CT revealed increased uptake of DOTA-IBA in bone metastases.
