Abstract:Background: Prostate cancer is the second most prevalent and the sixth deadliest cancer among men worldwide. To improve the efficacy of radiotherapy on prostate cancer cells, we investigated the apoptosis-inducing effects of ionizing radiation (IR) in combination with auraptene (AUR).
