Abstract:In the title compound, C25H16N2O8, the dihedral angle between the naphthalene ring system and the benzene ring of the nitrophenyl ketone unit is 82.64 (7)°. The bridging ester O—C(=O)—C plane makes dihedral angles of 42.12 (8) and 11.47 (9)°, respectively, with the naphthalene ring system and the benzene ring of the nitrophenyl ester unit. In the crystal, two types of weak intermolecular C—H⋯O interactions are observed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
