Abstract:A cytokine known as TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) has the ability to precisely cause the death of cancer cells, while normal cells are left undisturbed. Recent studies show that certain cancer cells are sensitive to the apoptotic effect of TRAIL.
