7 Parents’ perspectives on the play of children with sensory disabilities: a comparative study

Abstract

This research is based on a questionnaire distributed to 20 families of children with sensory disabilities-10 families of children with visual impairments and 10 families of children with hearing impairments. The main aim is to compare the parents' perspectives and understanding of play, as well as their involvement, and to establish whether families of different groups of SEN children (with sensory disabilities) have different attitudes.
