Abstract: Introduction Fungal infections are increasingly associated with critical illness, especially in major burn injury. The risk factors of invasive fungal infections include central venous catheter (CVC) placement, mechanical ventilation, broad-spectrum antibiotics, renal replacement therapy (RRT), and total parental nutrition.
