Abstract: Alzheimer's disease is a chronic neurodegenerative disorder leading to memory loss, which is caused by progressive wasting away of brain cells. Memory loss leads to changes in a person's behavior, thinking and social skills leading in turn to profound alterations in a person's social and family life.
