Abstract: The authors have conducted research on the current state of use of deep sea water and its effectiveness in a hygiene-management fishing port. Deep sea water-intake facilities have been constructed in 17 fishing ports and districts. Among them the use of deep sea water in Rausu and Kumaishi is designed to keep fish fresh and hygiene in the quality and hygiene-management fishing ports.
