Abstract:This present article aims to describe the treatment of canine anal sac inflation and infection by Photodynamic-therapy (PDT). PDT was obtained by using a dye, blue metilen 0,01% and red light from a red LED light source. After two treatments, on every 48 hours, the dog present complete recovery from anal sac illness, without any other conventional drug administration. PDT showed to be an efficient in treat anal sac inflammation and infection.
