Abstract:Gwako is a community in Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. It has a population of about 50,000 persons with a third being under the age of five years old. Despite proximity to the Nigerian Capital City Abuja, Gwako has very poor water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions, including very poor access to clean water.
