Abstract:Natural polymer composite films from a mixture of chitosan and gelatin of various compositions were solution casted using acetic acid with and without theophylline. The films were characterized by FT-IR, TG, differential scanning calorimetry, SEM, XRD and swellability in phosphate buffer.
