Italica ordinarily known as "broccoli" is a cruciferous green leafy vegetable and has been reported to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticancer, antiatherosclerotic, antimucolytic, antinitrosaminic, anti-nyctalopic, antiproliferant, and hypocholesterolemic potential.
