Abstract:Present study was aimed to evaluate the preliminary pharmacognosy properties such as antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-cancer potential of ethanol extract of Cissus quadrangularis.
Antimicrobial activity was tested against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Vibrio cholera, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Entero toxigenic Excherichia coli (ETEC) andSalmonella typhi by disc diffusion assay.
