Abstract: The article shows, teachers are insufficiently protected from manipulative actions from students. Assertiveness helps protect from manipulation and has a negative effect on personal anxiety and a positive effect on motivation to succeed. The degree of personal exposure to manipulation is higher among students than among teachers.
