Abstract:We described in this our work the effect of coolant temperature difference and control rod movement on neutron flux distribution in Nigerian research reactor-1(NIRR-1) core, which is miniature neutron source reactor (MNSR) in order to verify the theoretical predictions of reactor power. The results shows that the reactor neutron flux strong dependence on coolant temperature and control rod movement. These results are in perfect agreement with the constitutive model of the MNSR.
