Abstract

Africa and the expert advisor for Africa for the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF). For almost two decades Mohamed has been deeply involved in international climate and energy issues, including advising states in multilateral negotiations on climate change, developing policies and programmes. From 2008 to 2019, he led Christian Aid's global climate policy and advocacy work on developing countries' issues. He also led Christian Aid's delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Montreal Protocol, and other multilateral environmental negotiations, and he engaged and influenced governments and other stakeholders in favour of the world's poorest populations.
