Abstract: Epidermoid cysts of the brain (also called intracranial epidermoid cysts or tumors) are benign, rare tumor-like lesions, most often congenital due to maldevelopmental ectodermal inclusion during neural tube closure or acquired (post-surgical or post-traumatic implantation).
