Abstract: Cancer is among one of the most widespread diseases globally and poses a great threat to human wellbeing. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) compose most transcripts but cannot undergo translation. Thus, no proteins are made by them. However, studies have shown that ncRNAs can mimic both oncogenes and tumour suppressor genes involved in cancer.
