Abstract:The extracellular matrix (ECM) is the backbone in controlling cell behavior in the living organisms during the process of wound healing. The design of a suitable biomimetic nanofibrous scaffold which mimics the properties of natural ECM is a need of present time. In order to create a novel and unique wound dressing material, composite nanoscaled eudragit scaffolds loaded with gentamicin were prepared using the process of electrospinning. The nanofibers were characterized for size, size distribution, surface mo… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
