A C T Heterojunction Acoustic charge Transport (HACT) tranrrveroal filters have been successful operated with charge transport efficiency of 0.9996 for 6 microsecond devices and > 0.9999 for 3.3 microsecond devices having uniform tap weighting. Device delays in excess of 10 microseconds should be possible. Results for HACT devices having apodieed tap weights are presented ancl demonstrate accurate tire and frequency response characteristics. Harping filter sidelobes are close to theory. Phase weighting of HACT taps resulted in excellent device matched filter response to a nested Barker code input. Transversal equalization, or pulse sharpening, is also demonstrated for an exponential input and reflects the good baseband response of the -ice.
