A 40 Gb/s duty-cycle/polarization division multiplexing system

Abstract: Ever increasing demand for higher bandwidth and capacity requests more efficient multiplexing techniques. To increase supportable subscribers in networks, hybrid fiber optic systems have been proposed lately.
