“…No Brasil a indústria têxtil representa a força produtiva de 33 mil empresas instaladas por todo seu território nacional e emprega 1,6 milhões de brasileiros de forma , 1997;LUCAS et al, 2006;SHIH et al, 2017). O câncer de pele é a neoplasia maligna mais comum dos seres humanos, particularmente na população de pele branca, e cada ano apresentam-se mais de um milhão de casos novos no âmbito mundial (KONG et al, 2017;SIMÕES;SOUSA;PAIS, 2015 Na pesquisa realizada por Prasad et al (2016), é descrita a funcionalização de tecidos de 100% algodão com NPs de ZnO que foram sintetizadas in situ por dois processos diferentes, de spray e de simples imersão ou dipping process. Mediante estes processos em que se utilizavam soluções de nitrato de zinco 0,2 M e soluções de hidróxido de sódio a 0,2 e 0,4 M, obtiveram-se boas propriedades antimicrobianas com inibição do crescimento bacteriano maior de 98% e também, propriedades de proteção UV com um fator de proteção de 50+, para os tecidos antes e após 50 lavagens.…”
