A Blind Multiple Watermarks based on Human Visual Characteristics

Abstract: Digital watermarking is an alternative solution to prevent unauthorized duplication, distribution and breach of ownership right. This paper proposes a watermarking scheme for multiple watermarks embedding. The embedding of multiple watermarks use a block-based scheme based on human visual characteristics. A threshold is used to determine the watermark values by modifying first column of the orthogonal U matrix obtained from Singular Value D… Show more

“…Their scheme can achieve high robustness when it was compared to a single watermarking technique. Ernawan et al [7] proposed a blind multiple watermarking technique by considering the human visual characteristics. Ernawan's scheme presented embedding multiple watermarks on luminance (Y) and Chrominance blue (Cb).…”

“…This scheme can provide a good resistance against JPEG compression. Ernawan's scheme [7] embeds two watermarks by modifying the first column of the U matrix of DCT-SVD. Ernawan's scheme can achieve high robustness for both embedded watermarks against signal processing attacks.…”

“…Most of watermarking schemes are performed using YUV, RGB [6], and YCbCr color spaces [7]. YCbCr has been widely used in image compression [8]- [11], this color space is able to achieve a good decorelation of the color image.…”

“…Image watermarking based on transformed-domain produces a good robustness against several attacks. The transformed-domains such as Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) [2]- [5], Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) [6], [7], Integer Wavelet Transform (IWT) [8] have been widely used in image watermarking schemes.…”
