A blockchain-based trusted security zone architecture

Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose a trusted security zone architecture that uses a blockchain technology to provide secure sharing of data in the security zone while maintaining the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data. The blockchain uses a distributed network to ensure data availability and uses public ledgers to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data. Design/methodology/approach The proposed architecture uses a blockchain technology to provide secure sharing of data … Show more

“…Thus, it is natural that there are many LE and lottery schemes using smart contracts. To the best of our knowledge, all existing blockchain-based lottery schemes [13]- [15], [17], [17] use RNG, either through (i) pseudo-random number generators or random oracles that use blockchain states as seeds, or (ii) an external decentralized random number generation protocol. Therefore, they all inherit the limitations of existing decentralized random number generation methods.…”

“…The contributions of this study can be used as a reference to design the library channel integration strategy. Finally, Jo et al (2019) presented a trusted security zone architecture that adopted a blockchain technology to offer the secure sharing of data. The empirical results would be very useful for the public library and the future smart library.…”

“…Examples of permissionless networks, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, let anybody join, access the ledger, and contribute to the consensus mechanism. Public blockchains are decentralized and secure frameworks that provide transparency and trustworthiness, making them suitable for various applications [7]. Public blockchains are commonly employed to facilitate cryptocurrency and decentralized applications (dApps).…”
