Psychodiagnosis is a scientific investigation process, limited in time, which uses techniques, through specific, structured questions, to which the probable answers are organized in the form of hypotheses that will be confirmed through the steps of the process, either to classify the case and predict its possible course, communicating the results, on the basis of which therapeutic interventions are proposed. Therefore, the objective of this descriptive research was to understand the importance of using scientifically validated interviews and questionnaires used in the scientific community to identify clinical diagnostic factors and criteria, from the perspective of DSM-5 in the psychodiagnosis of children, adolescents and adults and in addition to psychological examinations and tests, clinical psychodiagnosis can be a means for an interventional and therapeutic process, as the professional analyzes, investigates and intervenes with resources and projective techniques. For that, playful and projective instruments and resources that favor the clinical process for evaluation and therapeutic intervention were also presented.
