A Canadian Medical-Psychiatric Inpatient Service*

Abstract: Patients with both psychiatric and medical illnesses present complex and, at times, difficult diagnostic and management problems. Medical-psychiatric units designed to provide integrated medical and psychiatric care have been established in the United States.
