A case of a patient characterized by t(8;22)(p11;q11) and BCR/FGFR1 fusion gene, who was successfully treated with haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

Abstract: Objective: The 8p11 myeloproliferative syndrome [EMS] is a rare myeloproliferative disorder which usually develops rapidly with chromosomal translocation of the fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 gene. The gene has 15 fusion partners, including the breakpoint cluster region (BCR) gene on chromosome 22.
