Abstract: Introduction: Diaphragmatic hernia by definition is the protrusion of abdominal structures into the thoracic cavity. Classified as either congenital or acquired, adult diaphragmatic hernia without a history of trauma is rare, and iatrogenic diaphragmatic hernia is rarer.
