Abstract: Ectopic adrenocorticotropin (ACTH)-secreting tumors are among the causes of ACTH-dependent Cushing syndrome. When surgical resection of the primary lesion is not feasible, medications such as metyrapone, mitotane, and ketoconazole have been used to control hypercortisolism.
