Abstract: Autoerythrocyte sensitization syndrome (Gardner-Diamond syndrome), also known as painful bruising syndrome or psychogenic purpura, is characterized by sudden and spontaneous painful bruising and swelling on both extremities, and is a psychologically induced painful bruising condition.
