Abstract:Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is characterized by symmetrical weakness, impaired sensation, absent or diminished tendon reflexes, an elevated cerebrospinal fluid protein level and nerve-conduction studies that show demyelination.
