A Case of Cognitive Impairment Presenting With Apraxia and Visual Disturbance: A Unique Nurse Practitioner Perspective

Abstract: A 56-year-old woman developed problems with performing familiar tasks (apraxia), word finding (anomia), reading, and spatial orientation. The subsequent work-up and ultimate diagnosis illustrates the complex nature of cases being managed by doctorally prepared nurse practitioners.
