“…In endemic areas, muscular hydatid cyst is uncommon and accounts for 0.5–2.5 % of all hydatidosis cases [1] . A few cases of muscle involvement have been reported in Iran [4] , [8] , [9] , [10] , [11] , [12] , [13] , [14] , [15] , [16] , [17] , [18] .
