“…To our knowledge, our present case is the first Korean IgG4-RD patient presenting with interstitial lung disease. Although a total of 6 Korean cases of IgG4-related lung and pleural disease have been reported in the literature, these cases showed multiple lung nodules or masses 10 , 11 , consolidative masses 12 , or pleural nodules 13 , 14 mimicking a malignancy. Our case showed relatively rapidly progressive (within 1 year) pleural and subpleural fibrosis with diffuse GGOs in both upper lobes, which is an uncommon presentation.…”

“…These cases showed multiple lung nodules or mass 6 7 , consolidative mass 8 , pleural nodules or mass 9 10 , pleural effusion 11 , interstitial lung disease 12 , or bronchovascular bundle thickening 13 in chest CT, and accompanying symptoms were cough, sputum, fever, dyspnea, or asymptomatic. All serum IgG4 levels in Korea cases elevated except the case of bronchial thickening with eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis patient, in which case serum IgG level was normal and serum IgG4 level was not mentioned 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 . However, in our case presenting symptom was hemoptysis and serum IgG4 level was normal.…”
