“…However, since the common hepatic artery (CHA) is absent at the upper margin of the pancreas in patients with Adachi type VI, caution is needed. CHA originates from the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) in these patients; therefore, the route of lymph flow differs from the normal route, and the greater curvature right group and supra-/infrapyloric LN may reach SMA LN via CHA [ 4 , 5 ].
