A case of malignant hyperthermia?

Abstract: SummaryAn acute episode of a maiignant hyperthermia-like syndrome is described which occurred after suxamethonium and isofurane anaesthesia in a 41-year-old healthy male patient undergoing a minor elective hand operation. Dantrolene therapy rapidly reversed the lfe-threatening signs. Laboratory results appeared to confrm the suspicion of malignant hyperthermia.
