Abstract:Many diseases of the human body, which need surgical treatment, require from the surgeon not only the elimination of this disease according to all the rules of surgical technique and modern asepsis, but also proper postoperative care. The latter is sometimes quite difficult, especially on wounds located near the so-called natural openings and on the path of the respiratory and digestive tract, due to the constant contamination of the wound by the separation and discharge of these pathways.
