A 68-year-old man was referred to our hospital for a 15-mm splenic tumor detected at a medical check-upbyabdominalultrasound.Follow-upcomputedtomography(CT)showedthatthetumorgrew graduallyto21mmindiameterinayear.Malignancycouldnotberuledout,andthepatientwantedsurgery.Laparoscopicsplenectomywasperformed.Thesplenictumorwasdiagnosedassclerosingangiomatoidnodulartransformation(SANT)onhistopathologicalexamination.SANTisanextremelyrarebenign splenicangiomatoidlesionthatwasinitiallyreportedin2004.ItisimportanttoconsiderSANTinthedifferentialdiagnosiswhenweencounterasplenictumor.
