Abstract:Multiple endocrine neoplasia type I syndrome (MEN I) results in parathyroid, anterior pituitary, and pancreatic islet tumors. An uncommon tumor in MEN I is the vasoactive intestinal polypeptide-producing tumor (VIPoma), which usually presents with diarrhea and hypokalemia.
