“…While, Nd:LuAG laser emitting at 1.44 µm has not been reported yet. The 1.44 µm lasers are in the eye-safe spectral region and indispensable in lidar, surgery, ophthalmology and so on [10][11][12][13][14].…”

“…The 1,444‐nm wavelength of this device is more efficient in the emulsion of fat and absorption of water than the conventional wavelengths of 980, 1,064, and 1,320 nm (Figure ) . In addition to laser‐assisted lipolysis, this subdermal laser, which mechanically penetrates dermal tissues and delivers light through interstitially placed optical fibers, tightens and contours skin by heating the dermis directly . We hypothesized that the 1,444‐nm pulsed Nd:YAG laser using a 1‐mm microcannula would produce more‐effective dermal tightening in NLF and might improve cheek laxity through removal of unwanted fat tissue, direct heating of dermal collagen, and minimal scarring after treatment.…”

“…[11][12][13] In addition to laser-assisted lipolysis, this subdermal laser, which mechanically penetrates dermal tissues and delivers light through interstitially placed optical fibers, tightens and contours skin by heating the dermis directly. [14][15][16] We hypothesized that the 1,444-nm pulsed Nd:YAG laser using a 1-mm microcannula would produce more-effective dermal tightening in NLF and might improve cheek laxity through removal of unwanted fat tissue, direct heating of dermal collagen, and minimal scarring after treatment. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a single session of a novel 1,444-nm Nd:YAG laser for the treatment of NLF and cheek laxity.…”
