Abstract:Leiomyomas are one of the rarest neoplasms of the breast. Intraparenchymal leiomyomas can present a diagnostic challenge, as they can resemble other benign, and more importantly, malignant lesions -especially leiomyosarcomas. Here we report a case of a 28-year old female patient with a palpable mass in the right upper quadrant of the right breast and present diagnostic and histopathological features, with special reference to magnetic resonance imaging.
