Abstract: Co(ii) speciation is reported for two ethylene glycol : choline chloride (4.5 : 1) systems depending on the cobalt source using several spectroscopic techniques (e.g. UV-Vis, NMR, EPR, FTIR) in combination with molecular dynamics simulations.
