A Category “Public Order” and Limitations on Party Autonomy in Contracts for the Carriage of Passengers by Sea

Abstract: the authors examine the public order clause as one of the leading institutes of the international private law and the relevant legislation of most modern states. It is emphasized the lack of a definition of the category of "public order" under the conditions of the proper regulation in the laws of the relevant clause.
