Abstract:This paper presents the design of a 802.11a WLAN transmitter for adaptive beam forming. A system study was conducted and an efficient architecture was proposed that provides a linearly controlled phase shifting range of 360 degrees. It is implemented in 0.25um CMOS technology, consumes 58 mA and has a phase shifting resolution of 10 degrees.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
