“…Cobalt ions were hydrolyzed to Co(OH)F and Co(OH)(CO 3 ) 0.5 ∙0.11H 2 O, with NH 4 F as a mediator, in an alkaline environment containing urea at 120 °C. The equations for the reactions of the Co 3 O 4 precursors and Co 3 O 4 are given in Section S1.1 of the Supporting Information . The Co 3 O 4 precursor was transformed into CNs by calcination at 400 °C.…”

“…Finally, although the abovementioned testing strategies are based on measuring contact angles (Figure a,b) or measuring the change in oil–water (non‐corrosive) separation performance after corrosion (Figure c), which reflect chemical resistance, the practical separation of a variety of complex oil–water mixtures composed of corrosive solutions or organic solvents to imitate real harsh conditions also makes sense (Figure d). Several separation systems especially for corrosive water–oil mixtures, water–organic solvents mixtures, and corrosive water–organic solvents mixtures have been established.…”

“…Therefore, the detection of pollutants and the purification of contaminated water have drawn much attention in recent years . Many excellent researchers have devoted into developing various oil/water separating materials to clean organic compounds from water sources, such as nanofibers, metal foams, polymer sponges, metal meshes, membrane, and aerogels . Among above materials, copper meshes have been paid much attention due to their big voids, good mechanical stability, high separation efficiency, and stable durability .…”
