A Compact Omnidirectional Dual-Polarized Antenna for 2.4-GHZ Wlan Applications With Highly Isolated Orthogonal Slots

Abstract: Abstract-An omnidirectional dual-polarized slot antenna with high port isolation for 2.4-GHz wireless local area network (WLAN) applications is proposed in this paper. The omnidirectional radiation patterns of the vertical polarization (VP) and horizontal polarization (HP) are achieved by individually cutting two orthogonal slots onto the metal walls of a cuboid antenna.
