A compact ultra‐wideband quadrature hybrid based on coupled‐line phase shifter and power divider

Abstract: A compact ultra‐wideband three‐port quadrature hybrid based on a coupled‐line 90° phase shifter and a Wilkinson power divider is proposed. The circuit configuration and theoretical calculation are presented. Using a short‐circuited stub and coupled lines, the design not only exhibits considerably large bandwidths but also provides compact structure.
